On the morning of March 11, the appointment ceremony for the working group of teaching evaluation and keeping improvement of XUTELI School/School of Future Technologies was held in Conference Room 221 of the Central Teaching Building of Zhong Guancun campus. Experts of the working group of teaching evaluation and keeping improvement, including Professor Zhong Shun’an, Professor Shui Xiaoping, Professor Xue Qing, Professor Zhang Xiaoling, Professor Hu Haiyun,  Zhang Lina, Director of the Quality Supervision Office of Department of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Feng Huihua, Executive Deputy Dean of XUTELI School/School of Future Technologies, Zhang Ji , Secretary of the Party Committee of XUTELI School, and Zhao Hao, Deputy Dean of XUTELI School attended the appointment ceremony. Zhu Zhaoyang from the Teaching Office presided over the ceremony and introduced the reform progress of cultivation of top-notch innovative talents and the functions of the working group.

Feng Huihua, Zhang Ji, Zhao Hao and Zhang Lina issued letters of appointment to the experts of the working group of teaching evaluation and keeping improvement. Six professors including Zhong Shun’an were appointed as the first batch of experts in the working group of teaching evaluation and keeping improvement.

After the appointment ceremony, the expert group and all the participants conducted in-depth discussions centering on the teaching supervision, the teaching construction and reform, the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, the teaching system documents recently revised and etc. At the same time, they further explored the way and method of teaching supervision, promoting young teachers to grow as teaching backbones as soon as possible to actively provide suggestions.

Feng Huihua expressed his gratitude to the experts, saying that the school would actively explore new ideas and methods for teaching supervision, integrate online and offline work, speed up the upgrading of teaching supervision, and combine teaching supervision with standardized management, teaching reform and quality improvement, thus promoting the standardization and featured construction of the elements set of the cultivation of talents in the XUTELI School/School of Future Technologies and effectively helping the reform of cultivation of top-notch innovative talents of BIT take to a new level.
