On the morning of March 16, the Beijing Institute of Technology has held a meeting on the collaborative education of the colleges and the reform of the training of top-notch innovative talents on the Liangxiang campus in order to strengthen the collaborative education of the academies and the colleges and promote the reform of the training of top-notch innovative talents. President Zhang Jun, Vice President Wang Xiaofeng, Pang Siping attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Xiaofeng.

The deans of the School of Automation, School of Aerospace Engineering, School of Computer Science & Technology,School of Medical Techonology, School of Physics, School of Management and Economics, and other major schools focus on the general situation of undergraduate talent training, the basic situation and characteristics of participating in the training of top-notch innovative talents, training measures and resource investment, and the next steps. The stage work assumptions were reported, and the relevant persons in charge of the Party and Government Office, the Academic Affairs Department, the Student Affairs Department, the Human Resources Department, and XUTELI School/School of Future and Technologies  made speeches.

Zhang Jun said that all colleges and related departments should pay more attention to the academies and colleges to promote the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents. He emphasized that we must keep in mind the mission of "educate people for the party and talents for the country", and focus on "two overall situations" to cultivate socialist builders and successors, adhere to the fundamental task of morality and cultivating people, and do a good job in the characters of BIT. The second is to strengthen the collaborative education mechanism of academies and colleges, change concepts and update concepts, build a collaborative education community of academies and colleges that is inclusive and shared, strengthen the reform of interdisciplinary experimental classes in science, engineering, and culture, and do a good job in the whole process of all staff. The third is to continue to deepen the reform of the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, make overall planning for each professional direction in response to the national strategic needs, do a good job in the construction of curriculum groups and curriculum systems, and improve the mechanism for the selection and cultivation of top-notch innovative talents. Advocating a teaching atmosphere, giving full play to the school's scientific research advantages, adhering to the "integration of science and education, teaching first", providing students with high-quality education and teaching supplies, and implementing the concept of "teacher-student-centered".

Wang Xiaofeng and Pang Siping put forward their requirements for strengthening the reform and collaborative management of top-notch innovative talent training. First, strengthen the construction of first-class majors, reshape the knowledge structure system, sort out the curriculum system, and promote the development of curriculum materials, teaching methods, and grass-roots teaching organizations; It is to strengthen system construction, cooperate with education and teaching work conferences, issue and improve relevant system documents, determine the responsibilities of professors with subject responsibilities, and promote first-class teaching with first-class disciplines. Collaboration, assessment, and incentive mechanism; Fourth, each college strengthens the guidance and assistance for non-major students, does a good job in intra-campus coordination, actively integrates, and increases resources implements the top-notch innovative education concept and cultivate an educational atmosphere.
