On November 19, Wu Yan, Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, and his entourage came to Liangxiang Campus to investigate the training of top-notch innovative talents of BIT.

Wu Yan and his entourage inspected some practical teaching bases, national defence culture theme squares, and smart classrooms on Liangxiang Campus, visited the exhibition of student innovation and entrepreneurship achievement, and attend the discussion with the first students of the School of Future and Technologies.

Zhang Jun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, President of Beijing Institute of Technology, and Dean of the School of Future and Technologies, Wu Feng, the representative of the academician's tutor, the heads of the school's Party and Government Office, the Academic Affairs Department, the School of Future and Technologies, and representative teachers participated the symposia. The symposium was hosted by the Executive Deputy Dean of XUTELI School /School of Future Technologies, Feng Huihua.
